FEMA has announced funding for disaster recovery efforts. The agency is providing more than $22 million for 28 projects to help communities recover from hurricanes and other disasters. This funding is part of a larger allocation of over $348 million for nearly 170 projects nationwide.

The funding includes nearly $19 million for Public Assistance projects to reimburse costs for repairs to public facilities and debris removal. Notable projects include repairs to the Municipal Fishing Pier in Mexico Beach and recovery work addressing flooding and power issues in Florida.
