Severe weather potential is being monitored in areas affected by Tropical Storm Edouard. A tornado threat may develop through late afternoon, but the overall threat is expected to remain limited.

Convective bands associated with the storm have been deepening in a region with high low-level moisture and heating. The area of concern extends into far southeastern Texas.
