Severe weather potential is being monitored in certain areas. The western Nebraska Panhandle and parts of eastern Wyoming and southwestern South Dakota are affected. One or two supercells may develop, posing a risk for large hail and strong downbursts.

Thunderstorm development is occurring near the eastern Wyoming state border, south of the Black Hills. Moist air and unstable atmospheric conditions are contributing to this development. The time frame for potential severe weather is between 7-9 PM MDT.
